Im opening a conciere service and im having a bit of concern. Ive been calling around insurance companies and I keep getting different answers. I will be providing for residential and business. On the residential side, I will be picking up/dropping off groceries and such. On the business side I may be picking up clients and taking them to their business – contracted through the company. By appointment only. This is not like a taxi service where im waiting to pick someone up, its by appointment. Now, Im asking what type of insurance do I need? Business? Commercial? Standard? If I just wanted to do the residential to start up what type of insurance would I need. Would I need different insurances for each or is their a certain kind a can get for both. Looking for the cheapest route, I dont have a lot of money. One insurance company told me I would need at least 00 down. I dont know who else to ask, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
