What homeowners and auto insurance do you recommend?

I am shopping for homeowner’s and Auto insurance. Progressive is the cheapest, and I like the fact that they cover pets that are riding in your car too. I am looking at them as well as Ameriprise, and Amica. Allstate and Nationwide seemed high, State Farm and Gieco will not give me Earthquake coverage which is a must. Thank you.

    We have USAA for both auto and home insurance. We have had them for at least 12 years, and I have been very impressed with their service.
